Dima is a member of the Photoskop team since 2015. Dima has a passion for science, he likes to discover and explore things. His major fields are Experimental Physics and Quantum Optics. Currently he is working on his dissertation in the United States. His interest in photography came to be few years ago when he was dealing with the scientific imaging in the research center in Germany. Dima was fascinated by the effects of interplay of natural and artificial light with objects, optics and cameras.

He believes that using modern technologies every photographer can contribute to the the society not only in a purely aesthetic way, but also in the way of highlighting the processes, current trends and their impacts, the influence of beauty of arts and sciences.

Dima praises open communities, knowledge sharing and collaborative principles. He pushes the development of the Photoskop project towards a community-driven platform for creative people.

His favorite genres are architectural, street, and documentary photography. In his spare from research time, Dima likes to read about technology, geeks out about theory of colors and enjoys playing in the lab with laser systems.
